Varietal Composition: 54% Merlot, 26% Malbec, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot, 6% Cabernet Franc

Nose: Aromatics of ripe cherry, boysenberry, and herbal notes with a hint of cedar.

Palate: Layered flavors of mocha and dark chocolate, blackberries, and ripe raspberries. The mouthfeel is very rich with a long, layered finish surrounded and supported by medium soft tannins with hints of coffee and spice, all held together with sexy, toasted oak.

Winemaking: Our winemaker, Bob Goyette, likes to use five varieties with Merlot being the predominant grape. His goal is always to make a big, lush, chewy wine that exhibits the best of his art.
